A Blueprint for the Future of Women’s Education
Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya successfully concluded its two-day International Conference – IC2026, drawing over 500 participants, including around 40 distinguished international delegates. The Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat and Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, inaugurated the conference through the lighting of the lamp (Deepa Prajwalana) in the early hours of 24 February 2026. The theme, “Advancing Higher Education in Rural India through Global Insight,” resonated deeply with the participants and catalysed transformative dialogue. Research submissions were received from across India and countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, reflecting the conference’s global academic relevance and outreach.

The conference, held on 24th and 25th February 2026, was conducted under the able leadership of Prof. Ashok Kumar Nagar, Principal and Conference Convener, in association with StudentNest Foundation, USA, led by Ms. Monika Joshi, Co-Convener of the Conference. The first day opened with a grand inaugural session graced by eight eminent dignitaries. The senior academic administrators included Hon’ble Chief Guest – Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj; Guest of Honor – Prof. Anand Mohan Agrawal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, United University, Prayagraj; Distinguished Guests – Shri Girindra Pratap Singh, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, and Dr. Pramod Kumar, Medical Director, United Medicity, Prayagraj. The international dimension of the conference further strengthened the deliberations. Dr. Tangee G. Pinheiro, Adjunct Faculty, California State University, USA; Mr. Helder Pinheiro, Manager, Fresno Unified School District, USA; Prof. Tarun Sabarwal, Professor of Economics, University of Kansas, USA; and Ms. Monika Joshi, President/CEO, StudentNest Foundation, USA, reflected on the shared vision. They provided a global perspective on educational leadership, student-centred learning, and community engagement. The inauguration of the “Abstract Book” took place in the session to mark the successful publishing of the hard work of the faculty and paper presenters.
The inaugural session was followed by a compelling International Keynote Session discussing the pathways and possibilities, interconnection of the global knowledge economy, and collaboration opportunities for the betterment of rural higher education globally. The four international delegates—Dr. Tangee G. Pinheiro, Mr. Helder Pinheiro, Prof. Tarun Sabarwal, and Ms. Monika Joshi —shared their experiences and exchanged ideas on the theme.
The day concluded with a Memorial Lecture by Ms. Monika Joshi and a plenary talk by Prof. A. R. Tripathi, Professor and Coordinator (MBA-RI), Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University, highlighting the contributions of Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, leaving participants energized and intellectually enriched on how international collaboration has transformed lives and made development possible through sustained efforts.
The second day transitioned from vision to execution. Two intensive technical sessions featured 72 research papers, reflecting both theoretical depth and practical application. The first Technical Session featured enriching lectures by Prof. Anoop Dhingra, Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin; Prof. Harishakar Singh, Former Dean & Founder Head, Department of Education, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University; Prof. Rakesh Dashora, Professor Emeritus, Department of Banking and Business Economics, Government Meera Girls College; and Dr. Sunita Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, in addition to 34 papers. Experts praised the quality of research as “truly impressive.” The second Technical Session, on the other hand, featured enlightening sessions by Dr. Deepti Suri, Chief of Staff to the SVP of Technology, Walmart Global Tech; Prof. G.C. Jain, Former Head, Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan; and Prof. A.R. Tripathi, Professor and Coordinator (MBA-RI), Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University—a remarkable panel of senior leaders in tech and academia, in addition to 38 papers. Participants explored innovative teaching methodologies, learner engagement strategies, and diverse approaches to knowledge presentation—highlighting how students demonstrate understanding beyond traditional formats. The enthusiasm of young scholars presenting on an international platform reflected the transformative power of opportunity.
The conference concluded with a vibrant valedictory session where Prof. P.N. Mishra, Former Director, Institute of Management Studies, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, enlightened participants on the history of women’s empowerment and the way forward. Prof. Sandipan Kumar Das, Ms. Monika Joshi, Dr. Tangee G. Pinheiro, and Mr. Helder Pinheiro joined the panel to conclude the session. The conference report was presented by Dr. Milan Chandel, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya. The conference concluded with a clear consensus: Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya is ready to step onto the global stage. The proposal for continued international collaborations, conferences, and academic exchange received overwhelming support. IC2026 was not merely an event—it marked the beginning of a sustained global educational movement rooted in rural India.
